What pptx does

For a new deck, the skill recommends writing a script with pptxgenjs. To edit an existing presentation or template, unpack it, change the slide XML, then package it again. It uses markitdown to read slide text and includes scripts for thumbnails, adding slides, cleanup, and validation. Check the finished file: the instructions recommend running scripts/office/validate.py before delivery.

The guidance covers slide dimensions, colors, lists, speaker notes, and charts. PDF conversion uses a LibreOffice wrapper because plain soffice hangs in the described environment. pptxgenjs is preinstalled; if require('pptxgenjs') fails, the instructions suggest installing it with npm install pptxgenjs.
