wordpress · nowork-studio — Claude Code skill: run a WordPress site through NotFair MCP
Lets the agent work with a WordPress site connected to NotFair MCP: posts, pages, media, comments, taxonomy terms, settings, plugins and themes.
npx skills add nowork-studio/notfair-plugin --skill wordpress -a claude-codeWhat wordpress does
The skill wires your agent to a NotFair-connected WordPress site. Ask for a post rewrite, a file upload, a comment cleanup, new terms, a settings tweak, a plugin or theme switch, and it routes the request through the MCP server. It ships for Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.
The mechanics are thin. This is a wrapper: on load it points the agent at wordpress/WORKFLOW.md in the plugin root, re-resolves that path from the wrapper's own directory, and treats every relative link as starting from <plugin-root>/wordpress/. Should that file be unreadable, the skill halts and reports a packaging problem instead of borrowing a same-named skill from another plugin. Install the whole nowork-studio/notfair-plugin repository and the path stays intact.
Note what it is not: the local Application-Password CMS route that SEO scripts use. A NotFair MCP connection has to exist first — the skill has no calls to make without one.
What it helps with
- edit posts and pages from the chat window
- push an image into the media library and attach it to a post
- sort comments: approve, reject, reply
- rename categories and tags on a live site
- activate a plugin or swap the active theme
Example prompts for the agent
- List the newest drafts on the connected site and show me their titles
- Upload
hero.pngto the media library and set it as the featured image for the “Launch” post - Remove the spam comments and reply to the question under the latest post

Questions about wordpress
How do I install wordpress in Claude Code?
Run npx skills add nowork-studio/notfair-plugin --skill wordpress -a claude-code. The skill file then lands at ~/.claude/skills/wordpress/SKILL.md.
What does the wordpress skill do?
It gives the agent control over a NotFair-connected WordPress install: content, media, comments, terms, settings, plugins, themes, HTML files. Every action goes through MCP.
How is it different from the Application-Password CMS setup?
The Application-Password route is the local setup SEO scripts rely on. This skill targets sites already linked to NotFair MCP, so it does nothing until that link exists.

--- name: wordpress description: Operate connected WordPress sites through the NotFair MCP. Use for WordPress content, posts, pages, media, comments, terms, design, settings, plugins, themes, HTML files, or approved WordPress changes on a NotFair-connected site. Not the local Application-Password CMS setup used by SEO scripts. argument-hint: "<site, content, plugin, or WordPress change>" --- # Canonical NotFair workflow Read [`../../wordpress/WORKFLOW.md`](../../wordpress/WORKFLOW.md) completely, then follow it as the active workflow. Normalize that path from the directory containing this wrapper: the canonical file is `<plugin-root>/wordpress/WORKFLOW.md`, not `<plugin-root>/skills/wordpress/wordpress/WORKFLOW.md`. Resolve every relative reference from the canonical file against `<plugin-root>/wordpress/`. If the canonical file cannot be read, stop and report the packaging error; never substitute a similarly named skill from another plugin.
