What search does

This skill guides the AI assistant in running natural-language queries against Notion. Instead of constructing raw API calls, you ask for roadmaps, customer notes, or bug queues. The agent routes the request through the Notion MCP server, querying databases or workspace records.

Output arrives as a clean list containing document titles, entry types, brief summaries, and direct Notion links. The prompt explicitly blocks raw JSON dumps. When a query yields nothing, the agent suggests better phrasing.

The skill fails immediately if the Notion MCP server is not configured in your environment.

What it helps with

  • locate project roadmaps and specs in Notion
  • find customer feedback databases inside the workspace
  • retrieve bug triage lists without leaving the editor

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find the Q1 roadmap page in our Notion workspace
  • Search Notion for customer feedback on the latest release
  • Look up our Notion database for bugs triage
