research-documentation — Claude Code skill for Notion research
Search Notion pages, combine findings across sources, and turn them into cited documentation. Use it for research summaries, reports, or comparisons.
npx skills add makenotion/cursor-notion-plugin --skill research-documentation -a claude-codeWhat research-documentation does
The skill searches Notion for relevant pages, reads their contents, and brings together findings, connections, and conflicting details. It can shape the result as a brief, a research report, or a comparison with a table. Source pages are linked in the finished document.
By default, the document is created as a standalone page. You can ask for it to be placed under a parent page, added to a database, or created in a teamspace. If the agent cannot open a page, check its access permissions; without access, it cannot read that page’s contents.
What it helps with
- find Notion pages relevant to a topic
- combine findings from several sources
- surface conflicting information across pages
- draft a cited research report
- compare options in a structured table
Example prompts for the agent
- Research the Notion pages about the database migration and draft a report with source links.
- Compare the two options described in Notion and present the findings in a table.
- Write a short brief from the Notion pages on this topic and list next steps.
