ltx2 — Claude Code skill: video generation and setup

What ltx2 does

The ltx2 skill creates video clips from text descriptions or adds motion to a source image. It outputs an MP4 with ambient sound, which can serve as a cutaway or a moving background.

LTX-2.3 22B runs on Modal with an A100-80GB GPU, and python3 tools/ltx2.py starts generation. Pass an image path when animating a still, and adjust the frame size as needed. The frame count must satisfy (n - 1) % 8 == 0.

Set MODAL_LTX2_ENDPOINT_URL in .env and use a HuggingFace token with read access. The service must first be deployed through Modal. Clips top out at about 8 seconds, and readable text in the video is unreliable. For title cards, that means adding text separately with Remotion.
