three.ws KOL — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Inspect a tracked wallet’s portfolio and its trades for a chosen token. Useful when you want to review a trader’s activity before analyzing or copying it.
claude mcp add --env THREE_WS_BASE=<THREE_WS_BASE> --env THREE_WS_TIMEOUT_MS=<THREE_WS_TIMEOUT_MS> --transport stdio kol-mcp -- npx -y @three-ws/kol-mcpWhat three.ws KOL does
The server gives an agent two read-only tools. get_wallet_portfolio returns holdings value, position count, the largest holding, and 30-day realized P&L, win rate, trade count, and volume. get_wallet_trades lists a wallet’s recent buys and sells for one token, with price, size, and timestamp.
Portfolio lookup needs a wallet address. Trade lookup needs both a wallet and a token mint: the feed is gathered by mint, then narrowed to that wallet. Install Node.js version 20 or later and allow network access to https://three.ws, or set THREE_WS_BASE. No API key is needed on the client. If the holdings provider is unavailable, the portfolio request returns an error rather than an empty card.
What it helps with
- check the value of a tracked wallet’s holdings
- compare realized P&L and win rate
- find a wallet’s trades for a token mint
- inspect the price and size of a trade

How do I install three.ws KOL in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add kol-mcp -- npx -y @three-ws/kol-mcp. To set environment variables for the server, run `claude mcp add --env THREE_WS_BASE=<THREE_WS_BASE> --env THREE_WS_TIMEOUT_MS=<THREE_WS_TIMEOUT_MS> --transport stdio kol-mcp -- npx -y @three-ws/kol-mcp`.
What does three.ws KOL do?
It lets an agent inspect one tracked wallet’s holdings, realized P&L, and trades for a chosen token. Both tools only read data.
Why does trade lookup need a wallet and a mint?
The feed is organized around a token mint and includes activity from tracked wallets. The server filters that feed down to the wallet you request.
