What textarttools-mcp does

The server runs on Cloudflare Workers and answers at https://mcp.textarttools.com. No authentication is involved, so setup is a single command. It exposes 7 tools: four for Unicode styling, three for ASCII banners.

There are 23 styles, from bold and italic to fraktur. Banner fonts number 322+, and the server serves the list from R2 storage. Preview tools let you push one string through several styles or fonts before committing to a choice.

Because the endpoint is public, it is rate limited to 100 requests per minute with burst protection. Batch banner generation will hit that ceiling. Running your own copy locally needs Node.js and npm; deploying it requires Cloudflare authentication.

What it helps with

  • style a heading in bold Unicode letters
  • build an ASCII banner for a script header
  • compare one phrase across several styles
  • pick a figlet font that fits the line width
  • drop a decorative divider into terminal output

Example prompts for the agent

  • Make the heading “Release Notes” bold in Unicode
  • Generate an ASCII banner for the word Deploy using the Big font
  • Show “Hello” in a few styles so I can pick one
