What Skill History does

Skill History gives an agent access to skill search and daily download snapshots from ClawHub. The service also provides chart pages and embeddable SVGs for skills; the MCP server itself connects over HTTP at https://skill-history.com/mcp.

Its data comes from ClawHub’s public API, which the service polls every two hours. The history covers ClawHub downloads only, so it does not represent installs from other sources. Keep that scope in mind when comparing skills.

What it helps with

  • search ClawHub for a skill
  • retrieve a skill’s daily download history
  • compare skills by their download trends

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find ClawHub skills for working with tests.
  • Show the daily download history for self-preserve by gavinlinasd.
  • How has the ClawHub download count for self-preserve changed?
