shopify-multi-store — Claude Code MCP server
Connects AI agents to several Shopify Admin stores at once. It lets models compare catalogs, track fulfillment delays, and execute guarded updates.
claude mcp add shopify-multi-store -- npx -y shopify-multi-store-mcp-serverWhat shopify-multi-store does
This MCP server lets an AI assistant interact directly with Shopify Admin panels across a merchant portfolio. The model can dispatch read queries across up to one hundred storefronts in parallel, helping teams pull order summaries and compare stock levels without jumping between dashboards. It also supports specialized reports like catalog health checks and ShopifyQL analytics.
Every connected store receives an alias and stores its credentials inside the operating system keychain, such as macOS Keychain or Windows Credential Manager. Destructive actions cannot happen across the board: updates target one specified storefront at a time and require direct confirmation before applying mutations.
Running the server requires Node.js 20 or newer. Without running shopify-multi-store setup to assign store aliases, the tools will fail because every store operation demands that identifier.
What it helps with
- compare inventory levels for identical SKUs across stores
- audit unfulfilled orders to detect fulfillment SLA breaches
- find price mismatches and catalog gaps between branches
- check merchandise data for missing SEO fields or media assets
Example prompts for the agent
- Compare inventory levels for SKU-901 between the retail and warehouse stores.
- List unfulfilled orders older than 48 hours and group them by age.
- Summarize order revenue over the past 30 days while keeping currencies separate.
