Panda Video — MCP server for video hosting: upload
Connect Panda Video to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client and manage your video library from the chat: upload and organize videos, monitor analytics, generate subtitles, create playlists and Shorts.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.pandavideo.com/mcpWhat Panda Video does
This MCP server exposes 177 tools from Panda Video's API (or 29 core tools via a streamlined endpoint for chat assistants). From within your conversation, search and list videos, rename them, build folders and playlists, import video from URLs, track views and audience retention, generate AI subtitles, upload thumbnails, and adjust player settings.
The server runs on Panda Video's infrastructure—no local installation needed. Point your MCP client to the server URL and authenticate via OAuth or an API key from your Panda Video dashboard. Tools that modify or delete data are marked destructive so your assistant prompts you for confirmation before executing them.
You'll need a Panda Video account; requests are throttled to 60 per minute per account.

Questions about Panda Video
How do I set up Panda Video in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http panda-video https://mcp.pandavideo.com/mcp in your terminal. If using an API key, add --header "Authorization: panda-YOUR_API_KEY" (find your key in Panda Video's dashboard under Settings → Advanced).
What can I do with Panda Video MCP?
Manage your entire video library through an AI assistant: upload and organize videos, view analytics and retention data, auto-generate subtitles, edit thumbnails, arrange playlists, and create Shorts from existing videos.
Do I need an API key to connect?
For chat services (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex), no—OAuth handles authentication. For IDE integrations (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and scripts, you'll need an API key from your Panda Video dashboard, which you pass in the Authorization header.
