NexusWindows for Antigravity — Claude Code MCP server: install guide
Automates Windows desktop programs in the background using UI Automation and Win32 calls without hijacking your mouse or active window.
claude mcp add --env PYTHONUTF8=<PYTHONUTF8> --transport stdio nexuswindows-for-antigravity -- uvx nexus-windows-antigravityWhat NexusWindows for Antigravity does
The server gives AI agents a way to inspect and operate desktop software without seizing cursor focus. It relies on native Win32 window messages and Windows UI Automation. Windows stay behind other applications during execution unless explicit permission is granted with foreground=True. User input remains uninterrupted.
Interaction happens through five core tools: windows lists active programs, look inspects UI trees in text format, act executes queued actions like clicks or keystrokes, launch opens targets, and window terminates processes via WM_CLOSE. After every executed step, the engine returns execution feedback marking whether an action succeeded, was already finished, or failed.
Operation requires Windows 10 or 11, Astral uv, and Python 3.11+. While instructions and parameters are in English, the tool responses arrive in French. If an agent behaves unexpectedly, pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Esc triggers an instant emergency stop.
What it helps with
- automate clicks and text entry in background Windows applications
- inspect desktop interface hierarchies without moving user focus
- launch desktop documents, scripts, and software with verification
- close unresponsive application windows through
WM_CLOSE
Example prompts for the agent
- Find the background editor window and click the save button
- Inspect UI elements in the background without pulling the window forward
- Launch the desktop application and submit the input form
