Munim — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Manages concurrent sessions across multiple client accounts in one process. Lets coding agents query infrastructure data across all clients without relogging.
claude mcp add munim -- uvx munimWhat Munim does
Standard MCP tools bind to a single Cloudflare or Vercel login. Managing dozens of projects usually forces constant account switching, which prevents cross-client queries. Munim maintains live sessions for each client side by side. Every client receives an isolated namespace and token, letting an assistant read across all accounts while restricting edits to the targeted profile.
Munim avoids bespoke wrapper APIs. It forwards upstream tools directly through list_provider_tools and call_provider_tool. When a provider lacks a required MCP tool, call_provider_api sends an HTTP call to the client's endpoint using the stored credential. The workflow stays deterministic and runs on the local machine.
Python 3.10+ is mandatory. Without it, the package cannot run. Reasoning models from Bedrock, Gemini, or Anthropic remain entirely optional and activate only via munim config ai on.
What it helps with
- maintain concurrent sessions across multiple client accounts
- inspect infrastructure records across all accounts in one prompt
- restrict write actions to an explicitly selected customer profile
- dispatch authenticated API calls to upstream providers without token swapping
Example prompts for the agent
- Check DNS configuration on Cloudflare for client Ivy & Fern
- List all available provider tools registered under Kloudfirst

Questions about Munim
How to install Munim in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add munim -- uvx munim in your terminal. This registers the server with Claude Code via uvx.
What does Munim do?
It hosts concurrent connections to multiple provider accounts like Cloudflare and Vercel. An agent can read metadata across every client while isolating write actions to one named target.
Does Munim require third-party AI keys to run?
No, core diagnostics and tool passthroughs run locally without invoking an external LLM. AI reasoning through Bedrock, Gemini, or Anthropic is disabled until turned on via munim config ai on.
