mozak — Claude Code MCP server: one shared plan per project
Keeps a single approved plan per project in plain files, so several coding agents read the same plan instead of overwriting each other.
claude mcp add mozak -- npx -y mozakWhat mozak does
The plan lives in two files: mozak.json for the data and mozak.md as a readable copy. They sit beside your README.md, and git tracks the history if the folder is a repo. No cloud, no account, no daemon.
Agents that load the skill or the MCP server begin from that same plan, so you stop pasting context into each one. An agent can suggest edits, yet nothing counts as the plan until you approve it. Agreeing on what to build and agreeing to start are separate approvals. A write coming from a stale copy is refused rather than allowed to clobber someone else's work.
Node 24.11 or newer and Git are required, on Linux or macOS. You list projects in mozak-inventory.json: a local folder, a folder inside an Obsidian vault, or a GitHub repo. For a private repo the plans stay inside it and everyone with access shares them. For a public repo add "plans" pointing at a folder, usually in your notes — otherwise the plans would be committed to the repo.
What it helps with
- point several agents at one project plan
- stop agents from overwriting each other's edits
- watch parallel work from Obsidian
- keep a project plan in git without a cloud account
- keep plans for a public repo private
Example prompts for the agent
- Show the current plan for this project and what is already done
- Propose the next step and wait for my approval
- Record the test run result in the plan
