mcpuptimeledger-mcp — Claude Code MCP server: uptime and SLA checks
A paid remote MCP server that checks whether your MCP servers are up, catches auth failures, validates tool schemas and issues SLA receipts.
claude mcp add --transport http mcpuptimeledger-mcp https://mcpuptimeledger.clauxel.com/mcpWhat mcpuptimeledger-mcp does
It speaks Streamable HTTP and JSON-RPC. Five tools ship with it: check_mcp_server_uptime, validate_tool_schema, detect_auth_failure, issue_sla_receipt and export_status_report. One pings a server, another compares its tool schema against what you expect, a third records auth breakdowns, a fourth produces an SLA receipt, and the last exports a status report.
This is hosted and paid, not a local process you run yourself. Production calls need a bearer token from the product website, sent as Authorization: Bearer <token>. Pick a plan and create the token first, then point your client at the endpoint. Hit /mcp in a browser without credentials and you get a JSON error rather than anything internal.
The repository holds public documentation and directory-submission links only, so the production code stays private. If you want to own and modify the monitoring logic, that is a real constraint. What you skip is running and maintaining the checks yourself.
What it helps with
- check whether an MCP server answers
- catch auth failures before they break an agent run
- compare a tool schema against the expected one
- produce an SLA receipt
- export a status report
Example prompts for the agent
- Check the uptime of the MCP server in my config
- Compare the current tool schema with the last snapshot and list the differences
- Issue an SLA receipt for last week
