blitz.cloud — Claude Code MCP server: host apps from chat
Wires your assistant into the blitz.cloud hosting platform in the EU, so apps, databases and DNS get managed in conversation. Needs an account with a claimed address.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.blitz.cloud/mcpWhat blitz.cloud does
This MCP server hands your assistant the same reach the dashboard has: launch something from the App Store, from a Docker image or from a GitHub repo, attach a database, adjust settings, and pull logs when a service misbehaves. blitz.cloud hosts the server itself, so nothing runs on your machine — you add the address and sign in through a browser window.
Tools come in groups. apps_* covers the app lifecycle, store_* searches the App Store and Docker Hub, dbs_* handles PostgreSQL, MariaDB and Redis, env_* reads and writes environment variables, domains_* manages DNS records, and logs_tail plus usage_get round it out. Destructive actions — delete, restart, pause — ask you first. Scripts that cannot open a browser use an API key sent in the Authorization header.
Rate limits apply: 120 calls per minute per key or connected app, and only 20 of those may change anything. Changing things also requires a verified email address. Tailscale or WireGuard networks are not a tool — they take a secret or a config file, and that belongs in the dashboard rather than a chat window.
What it helps with
- ship an app from the App Store with HTTPS already handled
- build a GitHub project and give it a PostgreSQL database
- find out why a service died by reading its last log lines
- change an environment variable without opening the dashboard
- add a TXT record so a mail provider can verify the domain
Example prompts for the agent
- What do I have running right now, and is anything broken?
- My blog stopped working — check its logs and tell me why.
