mcp-organizze — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Connects the Organizze finance manager API to your AI client. It lets you inspect account balances, track card invoices, and log transactions directly in chat.
claude mcp add --env ORGANIZZE_EMAIL=<ORGANIZZE_EMAIL> --env ORGANIZZE_API_KEY=<ORGANIZZE_API_KEY> --env MCP_PORT=<MCP_PORT> --env MCP_HOST=<MCP_HOST> --transport stdio mcp-organizze -- uvx mcp-organizzeWhat mcp-organizze does
This server translates Organizze v2 API endpoints into tool calls for your coding assistant. It reads bank account summaries, registers incoming and outgoing transactions, inspects budget categories, and checks credit card statements.
You can launch the process via uvx mcp-organizze over standard input-output or deploy the Docker image, which uses SSE transport on port 8000 by default. Without valid ORGANIZZE_EMAIL and ORGANIZZE_API_KEY environment values, the server cannot reach the service.
What it helps with
- record new expenses and income entries in Organizze
- inspect current bank account balances
- pull credit card invoice details
- review spending categories and financial goals
Example prompts for the agent
- Check the current balance across my Organizze accounts.
- Add a new expense of 50 for groceries in Organizze.
- Show the latest credit card invoice details.
