mcp-omie — Claude Code MCP server: setup and use
Connects an AI agent to Omie for customer, product, order, invoice, and finance operations. Useful when ERP actions should run from an agent chat.
claude mcp add mcp-omie -e OMIE_APP_SECRET=<OMIE_APP_SECRET> -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-omieWhat mcp-omie does
mcp-omie exposes Omie through the MCP interface. Its 30 tools cover customer and product records, sales and purchase orders, invoices, service orders, bank accounts, payables, receivables, stock, and financial reports. An agent can create records, fetch data, update a sales order, or issue an invoice from an existing order.
Requests use Omie’s JSON-RPC API. Access depends on OMIE_APP_KEY and OMIE_APP_SECRET, and Omie provides a sandbox after an app is registered. Without those credentials, the server cannot authenticate with Omie.
The server is listed for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI. Claude Code can register it through npx.
What it helps with
- read customer records from Omie
- create products and sales orders in the ERP
- inspect invoices and financial movements
- update an existing order and create its invoice
- check stock balances and bank activity
Example prompts for the agent
- List Omie customers and filter them by the condition in my request.
- Create an Omie sales order from the data in this project.
- Review financial movements and find unpaid accounts.
