Open on GitHubWhat macOS Calendar and Reminders does
Built with Swift and EventKit, the server exposes tools for calendars, events, and reminders. It can create and edit entries, search reminders by words or tags, detect conflicts, and handle batch operations. Events can include a location, URL, reminder, or recurrence.
macOS asks for Calendar and Reminders access on first use; the server needs permission to work with either app. In Claude Code, install the plugin through its marketplace. The plugin includes /today, /week, /quick-event, and /remind, plus a hook that checks the weekday when writing events. The README also gives a separate setup path for running the MCP server without the plugin.
