The server connects your agent to the local Screenpipe engine. Using the search-content tool, models query recorded screen activity and audio transcriptions. Each matching text hit is capped at 1,000 characters by default. Passing max_content_length=0 requests the full text instead.
The stdio transport provides deeper inspection via frame-context and get-frame-elements. Both tools take a frame_id to examine visual details beyond the initial snippet. HTTP transport omits frame inspection entirely.
Analytics and call diagnostics run locally by default. You can disable telemetry reporting with the SCREENPIPE_DISABLE_TELEMETRY or SCREENPIPE_TELEMETRY_DISABLED environment variables.
