This MCP server reads course data straight from D2L Brightspace. Your assistant inspects due dates, rubrics and course materials. Because it verifies actual submissions, completed tasks drop off your schedule immediately.
The get_grade_outlook tool computes your current score alongside worst and best outcome boundaries. It also determines the exact scores required on remaining assignments to hit a target mark. To limit scope, define the D2L_INCLUDE_COURSES or D2L_EXCLUDE_COURSES environment variables.
Authentication runs through a Chrome or Edge window where you sign in directly. The server does not store passwords. Any institutional single sign-on system like Okta or Duo works without special setup. Launching fails without Node.js 20 or newer and a compatible browser.
