logoloom — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install

A local MCP server that turns SVG designs into a complete 31-file brand asset package with zero external API costs.

What logoloom does

The assistant drafts clean SVG vector graphics straight from your repository context. From there, the server uses dedicated tools: text_to_path converts text nodes into font outlines via opentype.js, optimize_svg removes junk markup with SVGO, and export_brand_kit uses sharp to render raster assets.

Everything is placed inside a brand/ folder. It exports light and dark variants, single-color versions, ICO favicons, WebP files, ten PNG resolutions up to 1024px, social headers, and a BRAND.md style sheet. Processing runs on your local machine.

The server requires Node.js 18 or newer. If you plan to vectorize existing raster graphics with image_to_svg, install vtracer or potrace on your operating system first — the tool cannot run without one of them.

What it helps with

  • generate vector logos directly inside the IDE
  • convert SVG text tags to vector path outlines
  • export ICO favicons and multi-resolution PNG packages
  • create social share banners for GitHub and Twitter
  • generate brand style documentation with color palettes

Example prompts for the agent

  • Design a logo for this project and generate the full brand kit
  • Convert font elements in this SVG file to outlines
  • Export multi-resolution favicons and social previews from my logo
