Kudosity — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Connects an agent to Kudosity tools for SMS, MMS and WhatsApp, contact lists, webhooks, and API lookup. Use it to handle messaging tasks from your coding assistant.
claude mcp add mcp -e KUDOSITY_API_KEY=<KUDOSITY_API_KEY> -e KUDOSITY_API_SECRET=<KUDOSITY_API_SECRET> -- npx -y kudosity-mcpWhat Kudosity does
Kudosity exposes separate tools for messaging, webhook management, and API discovery. An agent can send an SMS or MMS, check a message’s delivery state, review replies, or register a webhook for delivery events. The discovery tools fetch the published Kudosity API specifications.
You need Node.js 18+, a Kudosity account, and an API key. Contact-list operations and balance lookup also require the API secret, so those tools won’t work with the key alone. The server runs through npx; credentials are passed in environment variables.
What it helps with
- send an SMS or MMS to a recipient
- check a message’s delivery state
- register a webhook for delivery events
- search Kudosity API methods
- add a contact to a list
Example prompts for the agent
- Send an SMS to
61438333061fromKudosityDemosaying the order has shipped. - Show me incoming SMS replies.
- Find Kudosity API methods related to opt-outs.
