Kortexio Memory — Claude Code MCP server: agent memory
A hosted MCP memory server. Your agent saves notes and pulls context back in later sessions, with OAuth handling auth.
Open on GitHubWhat Kortexio Memory does
Kortexio Memory gives an agent a place to keep notes between sessions. Three tools do the work: memory_save writes a note, memory_search finds it, memory_get returns the full entry. Auth runs over OAuth, so there is no API key to paste.
The server is hosted at https://mcp.kortexio.io/{appId}/mcp, where {appId} identifies your app. Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Gemini CLI all point at the same URL; only the config syntax differs. Cursor and Copilot take a JSON block, the rest take a terminal command.
For Claude the line is claude mcp add --transport http kortexio-memory https://mcp.kortexio.io/{appId}/mcp. A wrong {appId} means the server never answers, so grab yours from the Kortexio panel first. The project ships under AGPL-3.0.
What it helps with
- keep a note from one session and read it in the next
- search past notes for what was decided earlier
- share context across different coding tools
- record a project decision and come back to it
- add memory to Cursor without running your own backend
Example prompts for the agent
- Save to memory: our staging host is postgres-staging-01
- Search memory for what we decided about the auth schema
- Get the memory note about deployment

Questions about Kortexio Memory
How do I install Kortexio Memory in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http kortexio-memory https://mcp.kortexio.io/{appId}/mcp with your own {appId}. The server then shows up in your MCP list.
What does Kortexio Memory do?
It stores agent notes and hands them back on request. The tools memory_save, memory_search and memory_get run over MCP, with OAuth for access.
Do I need an API key?
No, access goes through OAuth. But the server will not work without {appId} in the URL.
