What Hive Intelligence MCP does

The server supplies coding assistants with verified crypto intelligence, covering wallet balances, smart contract risk ratings, DEX volume, and DeFi protocols. Every response includes cache age, origin metadata, and an execution receipt. This prevents models from acting on stale or unverified market information.

Connection options include a hosted HTTP endpoint and a local stdio runner. Getting started requires no payment credentials. The public endpoint allows 25 substantive requests per IP daily at no charge, while schema resolution and tool lookups are unlimited.

Local stdio operation in offline mode bypasses the hosted service entirely. Running locally requires custom provider tokens for services like CoinGecko Pro, Alchemy, GoPlus, or Helius.

What it helps with

  • inspect token contracts for security risks and malicious code
  • fetch verified DEX liquidity figures and DeFi metrics
  • retrieve on-chain wallet transactions and token balances
  • audit blockchain protocol activity with provenance timestamps

Example prompts for the agent

  • Audit the security profile of this token address and check for transfer restrictions.
  • Show recent DEX trading flow and liquidity data with source metadata.
  • Check on-chain balances and transaction records for this wallet address.
