The server gives an agent tools to create, find, edit, and remove notes, calendar events, contacts, and table rows. For WebDAV files, it can search names, contents, and metadata, browse directories, and read or write files. Search can be narrowed by file type, size, modification date, or directory, and matching text files can include previews.
Claude Code connects over HTTP to the MCP endpoint. Hosted clients can use a user-scoped usr_... key; the server resolves that key to Nextcloud credentials on its side rather than placing raw credentials in the URL. The key is tied to a user, so access setup depends on using the right one.
