mcp-server · gildara-io — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Connect an agent to a prompt vault for semantic search, prompt assembly, and execution. The server can also retain prompt context and send briefs to agents through Telegram.
claude mcp add --env GILDARA_API_KEY=<GILDARA_API_KEY> --transport stdio gildara-io-mcp-server -- npx -y @gildara/mcp-serverWhat mcp-server does
The server gives an agent tools to search prompts by meaning, browse a vault, inspect prompt settings, fill variables in a system prompt, and run it. Agents can save new prompts or add facts to memory prompts. They can also dispatch a brief to a named agent as an .md attachment in a paired Telegram chat. The vault includes agent blueprints.
On its first start, the server creates an agent account and stores its key at ~/.gildara/auto-key.json; an existing GILDARA_API_KEY is optional. To connect that agent to a Gildara account, use the link code printed in the MCP logs. Resolved prompts are cached at ~/.gildara/cache/, so agents can use cached results while the Gildara API is temporarily unreachable. Linking the agent to an account is needed to sync the vault.
What it helps with
- find vault prompts by meaning rather than exact wording
- fill prompt variables and retrieve a compiled system instruction
- save a prompt or add a fact to a memory entry
- send a brief to a named agent through a paired Telegram chat
Example prompts for the agent
- Search my vault for prompts that cover security audits.
- Build the code review prompt using
code_diffas the variable value. - Send gevorg a brief to review the results of my Meta Ads campaigns.
