GigHQ.ai — Claude Code MCP server: job-search tracker
Wires your agent into GigHQ.ai: applications, quiet follow-ups, skills gaps, H-1B checks. Handy when you're job hunting and tracking every application.
claude mcp add --transport http gighq https://mcp.gighq.ai/mcpWhat GigHQ.ai does
The server hands your agent the job-search tracker. It logs a new application after a duplicate check, moves it along the pipeline, and marks the ones that have gone silent — with a draft follow-up ready. It also builds a weekly summary: conversion rates, the applications open longest, what to focus on.
There's a skills-gap pass against a saved job description, and a lookup for whether a company sponsors H-1B. Notes, contacts and career-journal entries live there too.
Connection runs over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in, so no API key is involved. Account data stays inside your account, and the agent never gets your password. On Claude the server goes in with one command, and the skill itself is dropped into ~/.claude/skills/gighq/SKILL.md.
What it helps with
- log a new application without creating a duplicate
- spot applications that went quiet and draft follow-ups
- produce a weekly pipeline report
- compare your skills against a saved job description
- check whether a company sponsors H-1B
Example prompts for the agent
- Give me my weekly job-search report.
- Which applications have gone quiet? Draft follow-ups.
- Does Datadog sponsor H-1B?
