What clover-public does

clover-public connects an agent to Four-Leaf data for job discovery and interview preparation. Its tools can retrieve full postings, role guidance, interview questions, answer scores, resume-to-JD matches, compensation details, and application-tracker records.

The hosted server uses HTTP and OAuth 2.1. A browser opens on the first tool call so the user can authorize access with a free Four-Leaf account. Fifteen tools are available, while some functions have daily limits on free accounts. Without OAuth, the connection cannot finish.

You can configure it in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, or Gemini CLI. Cursor and GitHub Copilot use their MCP configuration files; the other listed tools have their own setup commands.

What it helps with

  • search for relevant job postings
  • compare a resume with a job description
  • score an interview practice answer
  • review an offer and plan a counter

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find remote senior data scientist openings and save the relevant ones to my tracker.
  • Score my answer to this system design question from 1 to 10.
  • Review this offer and give me concrete negotiation talking points.
