Hypotize — Claude Code MCP server: growth experiment backlog
Wires your agent into Hypotize, the team's hypothesis and experiment backlog. It reads the backlog before suggesting anything and logs the outcome afterwards.
claude mcp add --transport http hypotize https://api.hypotize.ai/mcpWhat Hypotize does
Hypotize is a Growth OS where a team keeps its idea list and walks each experiment through a lifecycle. The MCP server hands that backlog to your agent: before proposing, it checks what has already been tried, writes the idea as a hypothesis, rates it with ICE, PIE, RICE or a scheme of your own, and pushes the experiment along its stages. Once the run is over, the measured result and the takeaways land in the record.
Three skills ship with it. hypotize-growth-experiments holds the method — read first, argue from evidence, follow the lifecycle, close with a measured outcome. hypotize-weekly-review gives a read-only pass over the pipeline and ends with the items that need a call. hypotize-backlog-import pulls a spreadsheet or Notion backlog in, 50 entries at a time.
The server sits at https://api.hypotize.ai/mcp and authenticates with OAuth 2.1, so the first time your agent reaches for it you sign in to Hypotize. Hypotize does not run A/B tests and does not split traffic; it keeps the before-and-after record. If you want automatic audience splitting, look elsewhere.
What it helps with
- check what the team already tested before pitching an idea
- write a hypothesis in one format with an ICE, PIE or RICE score
- move an experiment through its stages without losing it in chat
- bring a spreadsheet or Notion backlog into Hypotize
- get a pipeline review that ends with open decisions
Example prompts for the agent
- Read the Hypotize backlog and draft three new onboarding hypotheses
- Score these ideas with RICE and add them to Hypotize
- Run the weekly pipeline review and tell me what needs a decision

Questions about Hypotize
How do I install Hypotize in Claude Code?
Add the marketplace with /plugin marketplace add hypotizeai/hypotize-plugin, then install the plugin with /plugin install hypotize. Run /mcp, pick hypotize and sign in.
What does Hypotize do?
It connects your agent to the team's experiment backlog: the agent reads it before suggesting ideas, writes hypotheses, scores them and records the result after the run.
Does Hypotize run A/B tests itself?
No. It does not run tests or assign traffic — it only keeps the record before and after an experiment.
