GateCore Marketplace — Claude Code MCP server: what it does
An MCP server for finding paid agent capabilities where price, permissions and a minimum trust bar arrive as structured fields instead of sales copy.
claude mcp add --transport http marketplace https://mcp.gatecoreai.com/mcpWhat GateCore Marketplace does
Point an MCP client at https://mcp.gatecoreai.com/mcp and GateCore Marketplace answers with published listings. discover_listings returns each one with its price in cents, the permissions it needs and a trust floor. get_listing pulls a single listing plus the contract behind it: target, data classification, and the same price, scope and trust values. Your agent can weigh those against its own policy before asking for anything.
Discovery works with no key and no account. Procurement, its history and lead submission do not: they need a GateCore access key carrying the gcmk_ prefix, issued through the developer portal. procure answers with PROCURE, REVIEW or DENY, and an eligible answer comes with gateway delegation metadata. list_procurements returns the decisions tied to your tenant, while submit_lead hands a consented consumer to a listing that takes leads.
Every governed decision leaves a signed receipt that ties the request, the policy outcome and the settlement together. Signatures are Ed25519; the public keys sit at https://api.gatecoreai.com/v1/receipts/keys, and https://gatecoreai.com/verify recomputes the bytes in the browser. No account, no callback to GateCore — a counterparty who does not trust the vendor can still check the evidence. Without an access key, three of the tools stay out of reach, so get one before wiring procurement into a workflow.
What it helps with
- filter listings by budget before asking to transact
- match a capability's required scopes against agent policy
- get a procurement verdict as PROCURE, REVIEW or DENY
- review past decisions for a tenant
- route a consented consumer lead to a listing
Example prompts for the agent
- List published capabilities with their price and required scopes
- Fetch this listing's contract and tell me whether our policy allows it
- Request a procurement decision for that listing and show the receipt

Questions about GateCore Marketplace
How do I install GateCore Marketplace in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http marketplace https://mcp.gatecoreai.com/mcp. The server speaks streamable HTTP, and listing discovery needs no key.
What does GateCore Marketplace do?
It serves marketplace listings with price, required scopes and a trust threshold as fields, and with an access key it also returns a procurement decision backed by a signed receipt.
What do I need for the keyed tools?
A GateCore access key with the gcmk_ prefix from the developer portal. It carries the tenant and agent identity, so you do not pass either as call arguments.
