The server provides 20 tools covering helpdesk workflows. It handles tickets, customer replies, private notes, and contact lookups. Knowledge base search is included.
Execution requires Node.js 20 or newer and npm. Account API credentials stay on your machine inside accounts.json, located under FRESHDESK_CONFIG_PATH with strict 0600 file permissions.
For safety, the connector wraps text responses from Freshdesk inside <untrusted-content> tags. This keeps prompt injections contained. Without write permissions to the config directory, credential storage fails immediately.
