What FiatDock does

FiatDock functions as a service directory for autonomous software. Agents use it to query crypto prices, inspect websites, or invoke endpoints exposed by other agents. Payments settle directly between buyer and seller wallets via the x402 standard on Base without intermediaries holding funds. Charges trigger only after the remote party responds. If an upstream service drops the connection or errors out, no money leaves the wallet.

Basic operations such as price feeds and quotes run without a funded wallet. Using paid capabilities requires generating a dedicated address, funding it with Base USDC, and passing the AGENT_PRIVATE_KEY environment variable. Without this key, paid actions halt with an HTTP 402 error. You can restrict active endpoints using the FIATDOCK_TOOLS setting.

The server includes fiat off-ramping to an owner's bank account across 18 currencies handled by Mt Pelerin. Off-ramping requires reaching a threshold of roughly CHF 50 and involves mandatory KYC with an interactive browser step.

What it helps with

  • pay external agents per tool invocation using Base USDC
  • transfer agent cryptocurrency earnings directly to a bank account
  • evaluate EVM token safety and honeypot risks
  • query Polymarket betting odds and prediction data

Example prompts for the agent

  • Check the Base gas price and get the USDC balance for 0x...
  • Scan this token contract address for honeypots or tax risks
  • Generate an off-ramp session to transfer agent USDC to my bank
