What Economy Intel MCP does

This server exposes five tools to fetch macroeconomic series over MCP. Agents query country_profile for current national figures. The country_indicator tool tracks multi-year trends in GDP or inflation. Comparisons run through compare_countries.

United States statistics arrive via us_series. It pulls CPI metrics and employment figures directly from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. To inspect supported metrics, agents run list_indicators.

Setup needs no registration. The endpoint operates over HTTP at https://economy.datakoot.com/mcp. The catalog covers only World Bank and BLS records. It excludes PMI or FOMC interest rate data.

What it helps with

  • pull multi-year GDP and population trends for any country
  • compare unemployment figures across several nations
  • fetch official US CPI and payroll statistics from the BLS
  • list all supported economic series with a single command

Example prompts for the agent

  • Summarize GDP and inflation for Germany over the last five years using country_indicator.
  • Rank unemployment across Scandinavian countries with compare_countries.
  • Pull the latest US CPI and employment figures using us_series.
