What e-arveldaja-mcp does

This MCP server connects to the REST API for Estonia’s e-arveldaja (RIK e-Financials). An assistant can use it to work with invoices and accounting entries, bring in bank data and retrieve reports. The package also provides guided accounting workflows and reference resources.

Set EARVELDAJA_API_KEY_ID, EARVELDAJA_API_PUBLIC_VALUE and EARVELDAJA_API_PASSWORD for access. Create a token in e-arveldaja settings and add your public IP to its allowed list. This is experimental software that can alter live financial records, so test on the demo server before using it with real accounts.

What it helps with

  • create and process an accounting invoice
  • import a bank statement into the accounting system
  • retrieve a report from accounting records
  • plan the steps in an accounting workflow

Example prompts for the agent

  • Import this bank statement and help me reconcile its transactions.
  • Prepare an accounting invoice and show me the entries before confirmation.
  • Suggest a safe sequence of steps for the year-end close.
