T-Bank MCP — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Connects T-Bank mobile banking to AI assistants for checking balances, sending transfers, and ordering groceries. Useful for automating personal finance routines.
claude mcp add tbank-mcp -- uvx tbank-mcpWhat T-Bank MCP does
The server connects AI assistants to 90 mobile banking tools through a router skill. Your assistant can inspect card balances and send transfers by QR code or account requisites. It also handles hotel searches, flight bookings, and end-to-end grocery orders.
Network traffic targets bank hosts using a pinned Russian Trusted Root CA alongside system certificates. The server pins them by SHA-256 and writes the combined bundle to ~/.local/share/tbank-mcp/bundle.pem. For grocery checkout, you must install a 150 MB Chromium browser through Playwright manually.
Running authentication through the agent exposes your password to the model context. Because of that, the server relies on a local terminal login tool that stores session tokens with 0600 permissions.
What it helps with
- check card balances and review transaction history
- send bank transfers using requisites or scanned invoice QR codes
- order groceries from cart assembly to payment
- find hotel stays and book train or flight tickets
Example prompts for the agent
- Check my current T-Bank card balances and list recent charges
- Pay this invoice using the requisites from the uploaded document
- Find available train tickets to Saint Petersburg for next Friday
