What cyon does

The cyon plugin ships two pieces. Skills carry knowledge of what runs on cyon hosting, and the MCP server gives the assistant access to your hostings: it reads them, creates subdomains, databases and certificates, and publishes a site. Skills live in plugin/skills/; per-version changes are in plugin/CHANGELOG.md.

You control the access. On the first tool call, or through codex mcp login, a browser window opens at my.cyon. Sign in, approve the connection, and the tools show up. That same screen is where you pick which hostings the assistant may reach. Skip it and the server sees nothing.

The repository is published from cyon's own one, so pull requests sent here stay unmerged. Take questions and problems to cyon support.

What it helps with

  • list your cyon hostings from inside the assistant
  • spin up a subdomain for a new project
  • create a database for a site
  • issue an HTTPS certificate
  • publish a site to the hosting

Example prompts for the agent

  • Show me my cyon hostings
  • Create a subdomain for the new site and issue a certificate
  • Publish the site to cyon hosting
