This MCP server exposes AgentMetal as tools, so an agent can go from picking a plan to running shell commands on its own box. No human signup: claim_account emails a one-time code, verify_claim turns it into an am_live_… key, and a wallet can be linked along the way.
Paid calls sign a USDC payment over x402 v2; everything else is plain HTTP. provision_server takes a plan and a number of days, and with managed_key:true it generates a keypair server-side and hands back the private key once — exec_command depends on it. Commands run as root, with a timeout between 1 and 120 seconds and a 256 KB output cap. Account-gated tools need AGENTMETAL_API_KEY, and destroy_server, reboot_server, server_logs and exec_command also check that you own the server.
Check the wallet before you start: it has to hold USDC on Base, or the paid tools will fail. AGENTMETAL_MAX_USDC caps a single request at 50 USDC by default, and a 402 above that limit is refused before signing. Live USDC settlement needs a funded wallet plus an x402 facilitator that supports the exact / eip155:8453 kind.
