CrustAPI Google + LinkedIn Data — Claude Code MCP server
Connects live Google search queries and public LinkedIn data directly to your assistant. Helpful for web scraping and company research.
claude mcp add search -e CRUSTAPI_API_KEY=<CRUSTAPI_API_KEY> -- npx -y crustapi-mcpWhat CrustAPI Google + LinkedIn Data does
The server sends queries to hosted CrustAPI endpoints. It provides four distinct tools: search covers Google web, news, maps, scholar, and patent queries, while linkedin handles public profiles, company details, posts, and job postings.
For content ingestion, scrape_webpage extracts plain text alongside JSON-LD metadata for RAG, and get_reviews pulls business ratings. Without Node 18 or newer and an active CRUSTAPI_API_KEY, the server fails on boot. Empty query responses do not consume credits.
What it helps with
- Query Google web, news, and map surfaces from chat
- Extract public profile and company details from LinkedIn
- Parse web page text and JSON-LD schema for RAG context
- Fetch customer reviews for local businesses
Example prompts for the agent
- Search Google for recent news on frontier AI benchmarks
- Extract public work experience from this executive LinkedIn URL
- Pull the newest customer reviews for Blue Bottle Coffee
