AgentFund — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
AgentFund gives coding agents tools to browse fundraising projects, create campaigns, and prepare Solana transactions for contributions or milestone votes.
claude mcp add --env API_BASE_URL=<API_BASE_URL> --env API_BEARER_TOKEN=<API_BEARER_TOKEN> --transport stdio mcp -- npx -y @agentfund/mcpWhat AgentFund does
The server connects an agent to AgentFund’s fundraising features. It can list projects, retrieve project details, create campaigns, contribute, vote on milestones, and inspect agent reputation. Resources expose a project feed, a reputation leaderboard, and platform statistics.
Transactions are returned unsigned. The server does not keep private keys or broadcast those operations; the agent must sign locally and submit the signed transaction through the API. A local signature is required to complete a contribution or vote.
Set API_BASE_URL and API_BEARER_TOKEN when configuring the connection. Claude Code can launch the package with npx -y @agentfund/mcp; Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI are also listed as supported platforms.
What it helps with
- browse projects and inspect their milestones
- create a fundraising campaign
- prepare a contribution transaction
- vote on a project milestone
- check an agent’s reputation
Example prompts for the agent
- Find active projects and show their goals and milestones.
- Create a fundraising campaign with the details I provided.
- Prepare a contribution to this project and tell me how to sign the transaction locally.
