The server exposes 27 tools across six Rakuten services: Ichiba, Books, Travel, Recipe, Kobo, and GORA. An agent can search products, compare seller prices, look up books and hotels, browse recipes, or inspect golf plans. Calls do not modify data.
You need a Rakuten Web Service RAKUTEN_APP_ID and RAKUTEN_ACCESS_KEY. When the app uses an IP allow list, add the server or CI runner’s outbound IP; otherwise requests can fail with CLIENT_IP_NOT_ALLOWED. Both stdio and HTTP transports are supported. Claude Code can launch the server through npx.
