Agent360 Browser MCP — Claude Code MCP server: your Chrome under

Gives an agent the Chrome you are already signed into, so 2FA walls and CAPTCHAs turn into a question on your screen instead of a dead end.

What Agent360 Browser MCP does

Two pieces, and both are needed: a Chrome extension that drives the browser and a local MCP server your agent talks to. Install only the extension and it sits on “Not connected”, since there is no server listening. The server runs locally — no account, no telemetry, nothing leaving your machine.

What it buys you is the session you already have. No login flow to break and no clean profile that every site treats as new. The README promises 40 tools. When a check appears, the agent asks you and then continues in the same signed-in tab.

Chrome will not install an extension by itself, so loading it once is manual. Either pull it from the Chrome Web Store for automatic updates, or load the unpacked copy from ~/.browser-mcp/extension/ in developer mode. If your project already drives a browser with Playwright, keep the two apart: this server acts as you, with your cookies.

What it helps with

  • operate a site that never shipped an API
  • finish a login that needs a 2FA code from your inbox
  • run end-to-end QA on your own web app
  • work a dashboard or social feed at human pace
  • hand a CAPTCHA to a person and pick up afterwards

Example prompts for the agent

  • Open example.com and bring back a screenshot.
  • Call browser_list_tabs and list what is currently open.
  • Sign in via Gmail: fetch the verification code and finish the login.

Questions about Agent360 Browser MCP

How do I install Agent360 Browser MCP in Claude Code?

Load the Chrome extension first — from the Chrome Web Store or unpacked from ~/.browser-mcp/extension/. Then add the server: claude mcp add browser-mcp -- npx -y @agent360/browser-mcp. Restart Claude; that boots the server.

What does Agent360 Browser MCP do?

It lets an agent drive the Chrome profile you are logged into: open pages, list tabs, read content, capture screenshots. On 2FA or a CAPTCHA it pauses for you rather than giving up.

Does it need an API key?

No key is involved. The server and the extension talk locally on your own computer, so what you need is both halves installed.
