I deposited ₹13,899.09 via UPI on 19 August 2026. My Kotak Bank account was successfully debited, and the transaction was marked successful, but the money was never credited to my Stake account.Stake repeatedly claimed that they never received the payment and told me to contact my bank. I followed their instructions and Kotak initiated a formal chargeback investigation.———Now, after the investigation, I have been informed that the chargeback was rejected by the beneficiary side.———So the situation is extremely concerning: my money was successfully debited, Stake says they didn’t receive it, and the beneficiary side rejected the attempt to recover the money.From a customer’s perspective, this feels like being trapped between the platform and its third-party payment providers, with ₹13,899.09 simply disappearing and nobody taking responsibility.Be extremely careful before depositing money.₹13,899.09 remains unresolved, and I am still waiting for someone to take responsibility.
