Bookmaker— what it means in affiliate marketing
A licensed operator that takes bets on sports and esports events and sets the odds.
Sportsbook and casino traffic behave differently enough that operators price them separately: lower margin, higher volume, heavy seasonality around tournaments. Affiliate deals follow the same split.
