What playwright-explore-website does

This skill opens the supplied URL through the Playwright MCP Server and works through 3-5 core features or user flows. It records user actions, relevant UI elements with their locators, and expected outcomes. If no URL is supplied, the agent asks for one.

After the exploration, it closes the browser context, returns a short findings summary, and generates test cases from the flows it found. Install it when manual website exploration should feed test work; the workflow uses the Playwright MCP Server.

What it helps with

  • explore core website user flows
  • record UI element locators
  • document expected outcomes for interactions
  • generate test cases from explored flows

Example prompts for the agent

  • Explore the website at the URL I provide and identify core user flows.
  • Use Playwright MCP to go through the main flows and record locators.
  • Generate test cases from the website exploration findings.
