What k-schoollunch-menu does

This skill takes a natural-language request, identifies the school, and retrieves its meal menu through the k-skill-proxy NEIS school-search and school-meal routes. The request should name the education office and the school so the lookup has the right context.

The complete instructions are loaded with npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 instruct k-schoollunch-menu; the CLI detects the runtime and prints the applicable version. The command needs npx, and Node.js 18+ is required when npx is unavailable. Check that before installing. The skill also blocks message delivery, public posting, and final submission unless the user gives explicit approval immediately beforehand.

What it helps with

  • find a school by education office name
  • retrieve a school meal menu
  • query school meals through NEIS
  • match a menu to a school name

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find the school by education office and school name, then show its meal menu.
  • Use `k-schoollunch-menu` to retrieve this school’s meals through NEIS.
  • Look up the school meal menu for this school and education office.

## Get the full instructions (required first step)

Run this and follow its output as the primary instructions for this skill:

```bash
npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 instruct k-schoollunch-menu
```

The CLI detects the current runtime (Dolshoi vault/CloakBrowser vs generic) and prints only the applicable instructions, always up to date. Helper files bundled with the CLI are listed by:

```bash
npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 files k-schoollunch-menu
```

Keep the CLI and every coding-agent skill install current (including Vercel Agent Skills) with:

```bash
npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 update
```

If `npx` is unavailable, install Node.js 18+ or follow https://github.com/NomaDamas/k-skill#readme, or read the source instructions at https://github.com/NomaDamas/k-skill/blob/main/k-schoollunch-menu/instruction.md.

## Hard rules even without the CLI

- Never execute payment, message/email delivery, final submission, cancellation, or public posting without the user's explicit approval immediately beforehand.
- Never ask for, print, or store plaintext credentials in chat, files, or shell arguments.
- Never bypass legal, physical-presence, CAPTCHA, identity-proofing, or electronic-signature boundaries.
