rhwp-edit — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Edits HWP documents directly from the coding assistant: inserts text, runs search-and-replace, builds tables, and updates cell values.
npx skills add NomaDamas/k-skill --skill rhwp-edit -a claude-codeWhat rhwp-edit does
The skill edits South Korean HWP files directly from your coding assistant. It handles text replacement and table editing without opening an office suite.
Under the hood, it calls the k-skill-rhwp CLI. This tool wraps the @rhwp/core WASM engine authored by Edward Kim. Running these commands requires Node.js, so the CLI will fail on systems without the runtime.
Strict guardrails block actions like automated email delivery or payments without explicit approval. It also refuses to bypass CAPTCHAs or digital signatures.
What it helps with
- replace text throughout an HWP document
- create tables and populate cell content
- insert or delete text blocks in HWP files
Example prompts for the agent
- Replace all occurrences of the old company name in `document.hwp`
- Create a summary table in `report.hwp` and populate the cells
