k-skill-cleaner — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Analyzes coding-agent skill trigger counts and interviews the developer to recommend unused K-skills for removal.
npx skills add NomaDamas/k-skill --skill k-skill-cleaner -a claude-codeWhat k-skill-cleaner does
k-skill-cleaner checks how often each K-skill is triggered by your coding agent. It then asks a few questions to confirm which tools you still need and flags inactive skills for deletion.
The skill fetches its runtime instructions on the fly via the @nomadamas/k-skill CLI. Because of this, Node.js 18 or newer is required to run npx. The CLI checks whether it is running inside Dolshoi vault, CloakBrowser, or a generic environment, then serves the matching instructions.
Strict safety rules are enforced throughout the process. The skill never asks for plaintext credentials and will not execute payments or cancellations without immediate user confirmation. This prevents accidental removals or unsafe operations.
What it helps with
- inspect skill trigger counts to spot inactive K-skills
- interview the user before cleaning up agent tools
- remove unused K-skills from the agent setup
- retrieve up-to-date instructions for the detected runtime
Example prompts for the agent
- Inspect my K-skill trigger counts and recommend unused skills to remove.
- Run k-skill-cleaner to review and clean up inactive K-skills.

Helper files bundled with the CLI are listed by: ```bash npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 files k-skill-cleaner ``` Keep the CLI and every coding-agent skill install current (including Vercel Agent Skills) with: ```bash npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 update ``` If `npx` is unavailable, install Node.js 18+ or follow https://github.com/NomaDamas/k-skill#readme, or read the source instructions at https://github.com/NomaDamas/k-skill/blob/main/k-skill-cleaner/instruction.md. ## Hard rules even without the CLI - Never execute payment, message/email delivery, final submission, cancellation, or public posting without the user's explicit approval immediately beforehand. - Never ask for, print, or store plaintext credentials in chat, files, or shell arguments. - Never bypass legal, physical-presence, CAPTCHA, identity-proofing, or electronic-signature boundaries.
