What deliverability-check does

The skill checks a sending domain and any subdomains you provide. With only a root domain, it also probes common names used for sending mail. It explains its findings and orders suggested fixes by priority.

The initial checks use DNS and the web, so connected accounts are not needed. If an ESP is linked through Cogny, the audit can also draw on bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe figures. DNS records alone cannot provide those rates, so this extra check depends on an ESP integration.

What it helps with

  • find multiple SPF records for a domain
  • check DKIM selectors on a domain and its subdomains
  • inspect MX and DMARC configuration
  • add ESP bounce and complaint figures to a DNS audit

Example prompts for the agent

  • Audit email delivery for brand.com.
  • Check brand.com and its news.brand.com subdomain.
  • Inspect SPF, DKIM, and MX for example.com.
