connectors-available — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Tests exchange connectivity from your current IP and looks up token trade specifications. Displays minimum order sizes, tick intervals, and order types.
npx skills add hummingbot/skills --skill connectors-available -a claude-codeWhat connectors-available does
This skill tests whether cryptocurrency platforms respond from your network setup by executing ./scripts/test_all.sh with a 10-second cutoff. It can evaluate every integration, focus solely on spot or perpetual markets, or query selected platforms. Each working connection writes rule sets into data/trading_rules.json.
When querying a specific asset, the agent triggers ./scripts/search_token.sh --token <TOKEN>. The script outputs a structured layout showing minimum order amounts in base currency, tick step increments, and supported transactions such as Limit or Market.
Execution depends strictly on a reachable Hummingbot API instance at http://localhost:8000. Credentials resolve from environment entries HUMMINGBOT_API_URL, API_USER, and API_PASS. The scripts look for configuration files in ./hummingbot-api/.env, ~/.hummingbot/.env, or the root directory .env. Defaults use admin for both user and password.
What it helps with
- verify exchange connectivity from your current network location
- export trading pair restrictions and tick sizes to JSON
- locate available markets for a specific crypto token
- inspect supported order types across multiple exchanges
Example prompts for the agent
- Check which perpetual exchange connectors respond from my location
- Find all accessible markets and order limits for SOL
- Test connectivity for kraken, okx, and hyperliquid
