indicator-dashboard — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Creates technical analysis dashboards with Plotly Dash or Streamlit. Generates live multi-timeframe charts and market scanners.
npx skills add marketcalls/openalgo-indicator-skills --skill indicator-dashboard -a claude-codeWhat indicator-dashboard does
The skill scaffolds an interactive charting application inside dashboards/ using prebuilt project templates. Plotly Dash serves as the default engine. The skill switches to Streamlit only if you explicitly ask for it in the command. Generated interfaces render in dark mode with interactive Plotly canvases, exchange selectors, and timeframes spanning from 1m to daily intervals.
You can build single-asset views with configurable indicators or compare several tickers in a grid. Another option displays four timeframes simultaneously to summarize overall market bias. A live scanner layout renders color-coded trend tables with scheduled 30-second refreshes and on-click detail charts.
Every dashboard expects a .env file at the repository root. Once generated, Dash apps run locally on http://127.0.0.1:8050, while Streamlit builds launch via streamlit run app.py on port 8501.
What it helps with
- scaffold an interactive technical analysis web app using Dash or Streamlit
- compare indicator signals across four timeframes on a single screen
- build an auto-refreshing market watchlist with bullish and bearish highlights
- export scanner table results to a CSV file from a Streamlit sidebar
Example prompts for the agent
- Build a single-stock dashboard:
/indicator-dashboard single SBIN - Set up a multi-timeframe view:
/indicator-dashboard multi-timeframe RELIANCE - Launch a market scanner in Streamlit:
/indicator-dashboard streamlit-scanner
